In the decade of the 60’s, in the past century, the Martínez family began a modest business of canning vegetable preserves, packing several agricultural products grown in the Spanish region of Murcia.
 

The founder of the first company, Mr. Antonio Martínez Hernández, Canning Master, whose image can be seen in the attached photography taken at that time, started his work with determination and tenacity,

although in a very artisan way, as it was the fashion in those times, but the initial difficulties and lacks were the fructiferous seeds out of which emerged the present firm.

That period, which lasted approximately 20 years, contributed to obtain a rich industrial and commercial experience, which allowed the second generation of the Martínez family the founding of the present firm, Conservas Martínez, S.A., with well defined objectives concerning products, trading, service, technology, expansion, etc.
